Our promise to every family we serve — and the standards every endorsed builder, affiliate partner, and channel partner must meet to carry our name.
The American Homesteads Endorsed Partner Seal is not given lightly. It is earned. Every builder, educator, and service provider who displays our seal has been reviewed, vetted, and personally approved by the American Homesteads team against the standards in this document.
When a homesteading family sees our seal — on a builder's website, a truck, a business card, or a product listing — they know that partner has made a formal commitment to our values, our standards, and our families.
The seal is a legal mark of American Homesteads. Unauthorized use of the American Homesteads Endorsed Partner Seal is prohibited. Partners who violate our standards lose the right to display the seal. This creates a meaningful, defensible, and valuable credential in the homesteading marketplace.
This is what American Homesteads commits to every family who trusts us with their homestead journey. This is not marketing copy. This is our operating standard — the foundation our business is built on.
Every builder, product, service, and partner we recommend has been personally reviewed against our standards. We never endorse a partner for commission alone. If we would not recommend them to our own family, we do not recommend them to yours.
American Homesteads connects families to the right trusted partners. We are not the builder, the lender, the educator, or the agent. This distinction protects our families — and our integrity. We never take on liability we cannot fulfill.
Our revenue model is commission and affiliate based. We are transparent about this. But we will never allow a commission relationship to compromise an introduction we make to a family. Family trust comes before partner revenue — always.
Family information shared with American Homesteads is used only to connect you with the right partners. We never sell your personal information. We never share your data without your consent.
American Homesteads is a family-owned business rooted in Biblical values and the belief that every family deserves the freedom to build a self-sufficient life. Our faith shapes how we operate, who we partner with, and how we treat every person who trusts us.
If a family has a problem with an endorsed partner, we want to know. We take those reports seriously. Partners who fail to deliver on their commitments to our families lose their endorsement — no exceptions.
To carry the American Homesteads Endorsed Partner Seal, every barn home builder and homestead contractor in our network must meet the following standards before endorsement is granted — and maintain them to keep it.
Valid contractor's license in their state of operation. Minimum general liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence. Workers' compensation coverage where required by state law.
Minimum 3 completed barn home or homestead build projects with verifiable references. American Homesteads reserves the right to contact past clients directly as part of the vetting process.
Endorsed builders commit to providing clear, written project proposals to every family referred through American Homesteads. No hidden fees. No bait-and-switch pricing. Scope changes must be documented in writing.
Endorsed builders commit to responding to family inquiries within 48 hours. Families referred through American Homesteads must be treated with the same respect and priority as any other client.
Endorsed builders share our commitment to family, integrity, and the homesteading way of life. This is not just about credentials — it is about character. We partner with builders who believe in what we believe in.
Every endorsed builder signs our referral commission agreement defining the tiered commission structure, payment terms, exclusivity provisions, and code of conduct. This agreement protects both the builder and American Homesteads.
American Homesteads reserves the right to revoke endorsement at any time if a partner fails to meet our standards, receives substantiated complaints from referred families, or acts in a manner inconsistent with our values and pledge.
Endorsement is renewed annually. Partners must reaffirm their commitment to our standards each year to maintain their endorsed status and continue receiving referrals from our platform.
The Founding Member Program is our way of recognizing and rewarding the families, builders, and partners who believed in American Homesteads from the very beginning — before we were a household name.
The first 500 families to join American Homesteads as Pioneer or Legacy members will receive Founding Member status — permanently locked in at their original membership rate regardless of future price increases, plus exclusive benefits never available to later members.
A permanent "Founding Member — American Homesteads 2026" digital badge displayed on their community profile — a mark of distinction that can never be earned by later members.
Founding members pay their original membership rate for life. If we raise prices — and we will — founding members are exempt. This is our thank you for trusting us early.
Founding members receive priority introductions to endorsed builders before any referrals go to standard members. When a top builder has limited capacity, founding members go first.
Founding members are invited to a private advisory channel where they can provide direct feedback to the American Homesteads team on platform direction, new features, and partner quality.
The first 10 builders to join our endorsed partner network will receive Founding Builder Partner status — with exclusive benefits that later partners cannot access.
"American Homesteads Founding Builder Partner — Est. 2026" — displayed on their website, business materials, and our platform. A permanent mark of being among the original endorsed builders.
Founding builder partners receive first priority on all family referrals in their service area for the lifetime of their partnership — before any builder who joins after them.
Founding builder partners lock in their commission tier rate. If we adjust our commission structure upward in the future, founding partners maintain their original agreed rate.
Founding builder partners are permanently featured at the top of our builder directory in their region — above all later-joining builders — for the lifetime of their partnership.
Why the Founding Member Program matters strategically: Founding members become platform defenders. They have a personal stake in American Homesteads succeeding — their rate lock, their badge, and their preferred status depend on our growth. This creates a community of loyal advocates who actively refer others, report competitor activity, and champion our brand. A competitor starting from scratch has none of this.

Our story. A corporate competitor cannot authentically claim a family-owned, faith-based, Jeremiah 29:5 founding story. Authenticity in the homesteading community is everything.
Our relationships. Builder partnerships, community trust, and founding member loyalty are built over time. A competitor starting today starts with zero of this.
Our list. Our email and SMS subscriber list is a proprietary asset worth more with every subscriber we add. No competitor can access it.
Our content. Every SEO article we publish builds domain authority that compounds for years. A new competitor starts at zero.
Our seal. The American Homesteads Endorsed Partner Seal is a legally protected mark. Once established, it becomes the trusted credential in our market — and competitors cannot use it.
The American Homesteads Pledge is not a legal document. It is something more important — it is our word. As a family-owned business built on faith and integrity, our word is our bond.
Every family who trusts American Homesteads with their homestead journey deserves to know we take that trust seriously. Every builder and partner who carries our seal deserves to know we will uphold the standards that make our endorsement meaningful.
This pledge is published publicly at AmericanHomesteads.org. We are accountable to it.
